On Sunday March 10, 2019 at 3:15 am the Harrington, Felton, Houston, Frederica, Carlisle (Milford) and Kent County EMS were dispatched to a house fire in the 500 Block of Jarrell’s Rd. in Harrington. Firefighters arrived on scene and found a single story residence fully involved. Firefighters placed three hoselines in service and brought the fire under control in about 40 minutes. There were no injuries reported. All units then remained on scene performing extensive overhaul and assisting the Fire Marshal. The cause of the fire in being investigated by the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office. UNITS ON SCENE: 50-4, 50-2, 50-5, Tower 50, B-50, 52-5, A-52, 48-5, 48-4, Tanker 49, Ladder 49, Tanker 42, 42-5, KM-8, FM-13 and Delaware Electric Co-Op and Fire Police.
