On Tuesday February 23, 2021 at approximately 0450hrs., the station, along with Kent County Paramedics and Delaware State Police Aviation and Troop 3 Patrol Units were alerted for an MVC involving a rollover on Hopkins Cemetery Rd., in the area of Pine Pitch Rd. Units responded and arrived to find a single vehicle wreck, vehicle versus a tree with injuries. Crews provided patient care and secured the vehicle of any hazards. The patient was evaluated on scene and then transported back to Sta. 50 via ambulance to be transferred to the aviation unit. DSP Trooper 4 then transported the patient to Christiana Hospital. Command placed the scene under control and units returned to assist with the transfer of the patient. Officer In Charge: Asst. Chief Jeff Outten.
