On Tuesday January 29, 2019 at 9:50 am the Harrington Fire Co. was dispatched to a report of a vehicle accident on South DuPont Hwy. south of Paradise Alley Rd. Firefighters arrived on scene and found a van that left the roadway and struck a utility police and then a tree. The driver of the vehicle was able to get out on his own and suffered minor injuries. The injured subject was transported to Milford Memorial Hospital for treatment. The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for investigation. All fire units then cleared the scene. UNITS ON SCENE: A-50, Rescue 50, 50-1, Fire Police, Harrington Police, Felton Police and Delaware State Police. OFFICER IN CHARGE: Deputy Chief Kenny Brode.
