On Thursday March 14, 2019 at approximately 1815 hrs. the Harrington Fire Co. was dispatched for a building fire at Apt. 61 Clarks Corner Apartments. Firefighters arrived on scene and found a second floor apartment filled with smoke. Firefighters determined that the smoke was caused by a fire in the oven that had been extinguished by the homeowner. Firefighters secured power to the oven and checked for extension. Firefighters confirmed the fire was contained to the oven. Positive Pressure was set up to remove smoke from the oven. The scene was placed under control and all units cleared the scene.
