On Sunday September 26, 2021 the Harrington Fire Company along with Ambulance 48 (Felton), Ambulance 52 (Houston), Ambulance 78 (Greenwood), Kent County EMS, Sussex County EMS and Delaware State Police Aviation Trooper 2 were dispatched to a report of a vehicle accident with multiple subjects injured at the intersection of Vernon Rd. and Fox Hunters Roads. Units arrived on scene and found a two vehicle accident with 5 subjects suffering from minor injuries. Sussex County EMS, DSP Trooper 2 and Ambulance 78 were all cancelled prior to arrival. All injured subjects were transported by ambulance to local hospitals for treatment. The scene was placed under control and the scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for investigation. UNITS ON SCENE: 50 Command, Ambulance A-50, B-50, A-52, A-48, Rescue 50, Engine 50-1, KM-8, DSP and Fire Police. OFFICER IN CHARGE: Deputy Chief Kenny Brode.
