On Wednesday December 7, 2022 at 9:14 pm the Harrington Fire Company was dispatched to a structure fire on the Delaware State Fairgrounds. Units arrived on scene and found a light smoke condition coming from the roof of a small concession stand type building. Firefighters forced entry into the building and found a small fire in the ceiling. One hose line was put into service and the fire was quickly extinguished. Crews then secured utilities and performed overhaul. The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Fire Marshal for further investigation. UNITS ON SCENE: Command 50, Engine 50-4, Engine 50-1, Rescue 50, Ambulance A-50, Fire Police, Harrington PD, FM-15 and FM-20. OFFICER IN CHARGE: Deputy Fire Chief Kenny Brode
