On Saturday July 5, 2025 at 1936 hours the Harrington and Felton Fire Companies along with Kent County EMS and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to a vehicle accident with Entrapment at the intersection of South Dupont Hwy. and Paradise Alley Rd. 50 Command arrived first and confirmed a two vehicle accident with a total of three patients and one patient trapped. Units arrived on scene and extricated the trapped patient within 20 minutes. Once extricated the patient was transferred to DSP Trooper 2 and was airlifted to a local trauma center. The other two patients were transported by ambulance to local hospitals for treatment. Units remained on scene securing the vehicles and clearing debris from the roadway. All units then cleared the scene and the scene was turned over to DSP for further investigation. UNITS ON SCENE: 50 Command, Ambulances A-50, B-50 and B-48, Rescue 50, Squad 48, Engine 50-1, Engine 48-4, Brush 50, Utility 50-8, KM-8, KM-5, DSP Trooper 2, DSP Patrol Units and Fire Police.
