On Saturday August 29, 2026 at 1754 hours the Harrington Fire Company, Felton Fire Company EMS, Kent County EMS and Lifenet Aviation were dispatched to a vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on Little Mastens Corner Rd. north of Hopkins Cemetery Rd. Units arrived on scene to find a single vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and two subjects with injuries. Both patients were treated on scene by EMS units. The passenger of the motorcycle was transported by Ambulance to a local hospital. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the landing Zone at WT Chipman Middle School and was Transported by Lifenet 2 to a local trauma center. The scene was placed under control and all units cleared the scene. The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for further investigation. UNITS ON SCENE: Car 50, Command 50, Engine 50-5, Rescue 50, Brush 50, Ambulances C-50 and B-48, KM-8, KM-5, DSP, Harrington PD, Lifenet 2 and Fire Police. OFFICER IN CHARGE: Fire Chief Kenny Brode.
