On Sunday October 18, 2026 at approximately 1045 hrs. the Harrington and Felton Fire Companies along with Kent County EMS and Delaware State Police Aviation were alerted for a mvc with entrapment in the 2000 Block of Hills Market Rd. Units arrived on scene to find a single vehicle mvc with a vehicle on its side and one subject trapped. Units stabilized the vehicle and extricated the injured subject in approximately 10 minutes. The injured subject was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Trooper 2 landed but was not utilized and cleared the call. The scene was then placed under control, and all units cleared the scene. The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for further investigation. UNITS ON SCENE: Car 50, Ambulances B-50 and C-50, Engine 50-5, Rescue 50, Squad 48, Engine 48-4, KM-8, DSP Trooper 2, DSP Patrol, Harrington PD and Fire Police.
