Tree into wires

Today (04/04/2018), at approximately 1646 hrs., the station was alerted for a tree in to the wires and on fire, with possible extension in to a structure. Units arrived to find a large tree in to the primary lines with sporadic fire when the power lines would arc and ignite the limbs. Units stood by on scene until the power company arrived and secured the lines. Once all hazards were remedied, command placed the scene under control and returned units. Ambulance B-50 cleared the scene and responded to a medical emergency within the district.
