Gas Leak
Wednesday, January 30, 2019

On Wednesday January 30, 2019 at 11:17 am the Harrington Fire Company was dispatched to the Taco Bell located on South DuPont Hwy for a reported gas leak.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find an active leak from a natural gas line that was stuck by a worker.  Assistance was requested from the Felton and Houston Fire Companies.  Firefighters placed a hoseline in service and waited until the arrival of Chesapeake Utilities.  Chesapeake Utilities arrived and were able to secure the leak.  The scene was placed under and all units cleared the scene and the scene was turned over to Chesapeake Utilities.  UNITS ON SCENE:  Command 50, 50-4, 50-2, A-50, 48-4, Rescue 52, Fire Police, Chesapeake Utilities and Harrington PD.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  3rd Asst.
