Camper fire
Monday, February 4, 2019

 

On Monday February 4, 2019 at 2:49 am the Harrington Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle fire with possible exposure to a building in the 3300 Block of Sugar Stick Rd.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find a 19 ft. travel camper fully involved with no exposures to any buildings.  Firefighters were also advised that a subject was sleeping in the camper but was able to get out uninjured.    Firefighters placed one 1 ¾” CAFS Line in service and extinguished the fire.  The fire was brought under control in about 10 minutes.  All units then cleared the scene and returned to quarters.  UNITS ON SCENE:  Command 50, 50-4, 50-2, 50-5 and A-50.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Fire Chief Robbie Brode.
