Building Fire - Corn Crib Rd

On Sunday February 10, 2019 at 2212 hrs. the Harrington Fire Company was dispatched to a building fire in the 200 Block of Corn Crib Rd.  50 Command arrived on scene and found a 30 ft. by 30 ft. metal building fully involved with exposure to several other smaller sheds.  Due to not being able to get apparatus close to the building and the lay out of the property,  50-4 crew placed a 400 ft. 1 ¾ CAFS Line in service.  50-2 arrived and supplied 50-4 and 50-2 crew placed a second 1 ¾ CAFS line in service.  The fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes and units remained on scene for extensive overhaul.  The scene was then turned over to the Delaware State Fire Marshal Office for further investigation.  UNITS ON SCENE:  50 Command, 50-4, 50-2, 50-8, B-50, FM-28 and Fire Police.  OIC:  Deputy Chief Kenny Brode. ?
