MVC on Park Brown Rd

On Sunday April 28, 2019 at 9:44 am the Harrington Fire Co. along with Kent County Paramedics were dispatched to report of a vehicle accident on Park Brown Rd. in the area of Pine Pitch Rd.  Firefighters arrived on scene and found pickup truck in a ditch and found the operator to still be in the vehicle and suffering from minor injuries.  Firefighters stabilized the vehicle and using a ladder was able to remove the driver from the vehicle.  The driver was then transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.  The scene was then turned over to the Delaware State Police for investigation.  UNITS ON SCENE:  A-50, Rescue 50, 50-1, KM-8, Fire Police and DSP.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Fire Chief Robbie Brode.
