Gas Leak - Family Dollar

On Wednesday May 13, 2020 at 1608 hrs. the Harrington and Houston Fire Companies were dispatched to gas leak at the Family Dollar located in the Liberty Plaza Shopping Center.  Subjects who were on scene were reporting an odor of gas inside the building.   Crews arrived and investigated and were able to determine the leak was coming from a nearby business.  Firefighters were able to secure the leak and re-checked the buildings and found no hazards.  The scene was then placed under control and all units cleared the scene.  UNITS ON SCENE:  50 Command, Engine 50-4, Tower 50, Ambulance A-50, Engine 52-2, Engine 52-5, Harrington PD and Fire Police.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  1^st Asst.
