Vehicle in high water - E. Liberty St.

On Wednesday August 12, 2020 at approximately 1600 hrs. a powerful thunderstorm with heavy rains passed through the Harrington Area.  At 1611hrs. the company was dispatched for a vehicle stuck in high water on East Liberty St. in the area of Howard Dill Ave.  Units responded and upon arrival determined that the occupants exited safely and did not require medical attention.  Units were then dispatched to vehicle stranded in high water in the area of 114 East Liberty St., just west of the first incident and Railroad Ave. in the area of West Liberty St.  Units handled those calls and all occupants were safely removed with no injuries.  The scenes were then placed under control and all units cleared the scenes.  The City of Harrington Public Works and the Harrington Police Department also assisted.  UNITS ON SCENE:  50 Command, Ambulance A-50 and B-50, Rescue 50, Brush 50, Utility 50-8, Utility 50-17, Harrington PD, Harrington Public Works and Fire Police.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Fire Chief Robbie Brode and Captain Mark Scribner Jr.
