Passing of Wilmington Manor Past President

The Officers and Members of the Harrington Fire Company, Inc. are joining the Delaware Fire Service in mourning the passing of Delaware Fire service Icon Edward Michael Rush Jr.  Mr. Rush was a Past President, Deputy Chief Emeritus and Life Member of the Wilmington Manor Fire Co.,  a Life Member of the Christiana Fire Co. and honorary members of several fire companies up and down the State of Delaware including an Honorary Life Membership in the Citizens Hose Co of Smyrna and the Clayton Fire Company.  Mike was an instructor at the Delaware State Fire School, Past President of the Delaware Fire Chiefs and held several other positions and served on numerous committee's around the region. Mike served his country as a United States Marine serving in Vietnam from 1968 to 1970.  He was also the recipient of the 2013 DVFA Fireman of the Year Award.  We ask that you keep the Rush Family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
