Vehicle Fire - Harrington Raceway and Casino

On Saturday February 27, 2021 at 2228 hrs. the Harrington Fire Company was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire at the Harrington Raceway and Casino.  Firefighters arrived on scene and located  vehicle in the parking lot that had a fire on the inside of the passenger compartment that self-extinguished.  Units then checked the vehicle for extension and confirmed the fire was out.  The scene was placed under control and turned over to the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office for further investigation.  UNITS ON SCENE:  50 Command,  Engine 50-1, Engine 50-5, Ambulance B-50, Fire Police and FM-28.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Asst. Chief Jeff Outten.
