Vehicle Accident and Outside Fire

On Thursday May 13, 2021 at 12:36 hrs. the Harrington Fire Co. along with Houston Fire Company Ambulance A-52 was dispatched for a vehicle accident in the 6800 Block of Milford-Harrington Hwy.  Units arrived on scene to find a two vehicle accident with two subjects suffering from minor injuries.  Both subjects were transported to local hospitals for treatment.  Firefighters then checked the vehicles for hazards and removed debris from the roadway.  The scene was then placed under control and all units returned.  The scene was then turned over to the Harrington Police Department for further investigation.  UNITS ON SCENE:  Ambulance A-50, Ambulance A-52, Rescue 50, Engine 50-1, Harrington PD and Fire Police.  While units were clearing the accident units were dispatched to a residence on Clark St. for an outside fire.  Units arrived on scene and found a debris pile on fire in the driveway with exposure to a vehicle and house.  Firefighters placed one hose line in service and quickly brought the fire under control.  Units then cleared the scene and returned to quarters.  Rescue 50 and Engine 50-1 handled the Clark St. incident.  Fire Chief Robbie Brode had command of both incidents.
