Fire Company Assists with Search for 2 Missing Juveniles

On Wednesday February 23, 2022 at 6:43 pm the Harrington Fire Company and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to assist the Harrington Police Department with a  Search in the 400 Block of Harrington Ave.  Units arrived on scene and determined that two juveniles had left the residence earlier and have failed to return home.  Units were assigned areas to search by Command and units then began searching for the juveniles.  After about approximately 20 minutes of searching both juveniles were found in a field about a mile from their residence.  The juveniles were then brought back to the residence and turned over to their parents.   Neither juvenile required medical attention.  The scene was placed under control and all units cleared the scene.  DSP Aviation was cancelled prior to arrival.  UNITS ON SCENE:  50 Command, Ambulance A-50, Rescue 50, Gator 1, Gator 2, Harrington PD and Fire Police.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Fire Chief Robbie Brode.
