MVC on Liberty St @ Thomas St
Thursday, March 31, 2022

On Thursday March 31, 2022 at 10:51 am the Harrington Fire Company, Houston Fire Company (Rescue and Ambulance Assist), Kent County EMS and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched for a report of a vehicle accident with entrapment on Liberty St. in the area of Thomas St.  Units arrived on scene and found a vehicle overturned with negative entrapment.  The lone occupant of the vehicle had self extricated prior to arrival of units and was suffering from minor injuries.  The injured subject was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.  Houston Fire Co. Units, Kent County EMS and Aviation were cancelled.  The scene was then placed under control and all units cleared the scene.  The scene was turned over to the Harrington PD for further investigation.  UNITS ON SCENE:  Officer 50-16, Rescue 50, Ambulance B-50and C-50, Fire Police and Harrington PD.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Deputy Chief Kenny Brode.
