Harrington Fire Company responded to Single Vehicle
Tuesday, September 20, 2022

On Tuesday September 20, 2022 at 1830 hrs. the Harrington Fire Company along with Kent County EMS were dispatched for a vehicle accident at the intersection or East Liberty St. and Dixon St. Engine 50-1, Brush 50 and Utility 50-8 were en route to training at the Delaware State Fire School and made the response from just north of town.    Units arrived on scene to find a single vehicle had left the roadway and struck a tree.  One subject was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with minor injuries.  Two other subjects were evaluated on scene and refused treatment.  The vehicle was then checked for hazards.  The scene was placed under control and turned over to the Harrington Police Department for further investigation.  UNITS ON SCENE:  Officer 50-15, Ambulance C-50, Engine 50-1, Rescue 50, Brush 50, Utility 50-8, KM-8, Harrington PD, DSP and Fire Police.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Fire Chief Robbie Brode.
