Residential Structure Fire - Pea Hill Rd

On Thursday May 4, 2023 at 3:10 am the Harrington, Felton, Frederica and Houston Fire Companies along with Kent County EMS was dispatched to a residental structure fire in the 400 Block of Pea Hill Rd. Units arrived on scene and reported smoke showing from a single story single family dwelling. Crews placed two hand lines in service and located the fire in the attic of the residence and extinguished the fire. Crews performed searches of the residence and ventilated the residence. No injuries were reported. The scene was placed under control in 30 minutes and units remained on scene for overhaul. The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Fire Marshal for further investigtion. UNITS ON SCENE: Command 50, Engine 50-4, Tower 50, Tanker 50, Rescue 50, Ambulance C-50, Ladder 49, Squad 49, Command 48, Engine/Tanker 48-5, Rescue 52, Engine 52-2, Tanker 52, Ambualnce B-52, Command 52, KM-8, Harrington PD and Fire Police.
