Harrington Fire Co. responds to Agriculture Rescue
Wednesday, July 19, 2023

On Wednesday July 19, 2023 at 1338 hrs. the Harrington Fire Company, Kent County EMS (KM-8) and Delaware State Police Aviation (Trooper 2) were dispatched to a report of a subject fallen in the 1800 Block of Brownsville Rd.  Units were advised that an adult male had fallen approximatly 3 foot out of a grain tank into andAuger.  Units arrived on scene and confirmed the subject was not trapped in the Auger but reported that the subject was Priority 1.  Units set up a Landing Zone for Trooper 2 and the subject was then transported by Trooper 2 to a local trauma center with serious injuries.  The scene was then placed under control and the scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for investigation.  UNITS ON SCENE:  Fire Chief 50-15, Ambulance A-50, Rescue 50, KM-8 and DSP.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Fire Chief Robbie Brode.
