Vehicle Accident in Harrington with 3 Trapped and 2 Fly Outs

On Sunday September 17, 2023 at 10:29 hrs. the Harrington and Houston Fire Companies along with Kent County EMS and Aviation units were dispatched to a vehicle accident with entrapment in the 5900 Block of Milford-Harrington Hwy. Units arrived on scene to find a two vehcile head on collision accident with two subjects trapped in one vehicle and a single subject trapped in a second vehicle. A second aviation units was also requested. Crews arrived on scene and began extricating the trapped subjects. All subjects were extricated within 15 minutes. A total of four subjects were transported, two by aviation units and two by ambulance. The scene was then placed under control and all units cleared the scene. The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for further investigation. Del-Dot remained on scene shutting the road down during the investigation.
