Trailer Fire in Harrington
Saturday, August 31, 2024

On Saturday August 31, at 12:08 am the Harrington, Farmington and Houston Fire Companies along with Kent County EMS were dispatched to a trailer fire in the 100 Block of Messicks Rd.  Units arrived on scene and found a fire on the roof of the single wide trailer that had been extinguished by the homeowner.  Crews then performed overhaul and checked for extension.  The fire was contained to the exterior of the trailer.  The scene was then placed under control and units cleared the scene.  The fire is being investigated by the Delaware State Fire Marshal. 

 

Units on Scene:  Chief Car, Engines 50-5, 47-4, 52-5, Rescue 50, Rescue 47, Rescue 52, Tanker 50, Tanker 47, Tanker 52, Ambulances C-50 and A-52, KM-8, FM-17, FM-22, Harrington PD and Fire police.  Felton Fire Co. stood by at Harrington Fire Company.
