Accident in Harrington with Ejection and Flyout

On Saturday October 5, 2024 at 0528 hrs the Harrington Fire Company, Kent County EMS (KM-8) and Delaware State Police Aviation (Trooper 2) were dispatched to a vehicle accident with a rollover on Hills Market Rd. in the area of Sugar Stick Rd.  Units arrived on scene to find a one vehicle accident with subject ejected and suffering from serious injuries.  EMS units began treating the injured subject and the injured subject was then airlifted to a local hospital for treatment.  Crews then checked the vehicle for any hazards.  The scene was then placed under control and scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for further investigation.  UNITS ON SCENE:  50 Command, Engine 50-5, Rescue 50, Brush 50, Ambulance A-50, DSP Trooper 2, KM-8, DSP Patrol and Fire Police.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Deputy Chief Robbie Brode.
