Harrington Fire Company responds to house fire in Milford

On Tuesday February 18, 2025 at 0704 hrs. the Harrington Fire Company was alerted for the Ladder Assist for Greenwood Fire Company (Sussex County Sta. 78) on a residential structure fire in the 13000 Block of Mile Stretch Rd. in Greenwood.  While responding to that call Tower 50 was cancelled by 78 Command.  While returning Tower 50 was alerted to assist the Carlisle Fire Company (Milford Sta. 42) with a residential structure fire on Milford-Harrington Hwy.  Tower 50 operated on scene for approximately 45 minutes before being released by 42 Command.
