Vehicle Accident in Harrington with Flyout

On Sunday July 19, 2026 at 1804 hours the Harrington Fire Company was dispatched to an Automatic Crash Notification on Hills Market Rd. in the area of Sugar Stick Rd. While units were responding a Fire Policeman from the Felton Fire Company arrived on scene and confirmed a vehicle was overturned in a field with one subject possibly ejected. The call was upgraded adding KM-5, KM-8 and Delaware State Police Aviation. Units arrived on scene and found a vehicle overturned in a cornfield and began patient care. Crews also secured the vehicle for any hazards. A landing zone was set up for DSP Trooper 2. The patient was then transported to the landing zone and transported by DSP Trooper 2 to a local trauma center with serious injuries. The scene was then placed under control, and all units cleared the scene. The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for further investigation.
