Vehicle Accident in Harrington with Reported Entrapment and Fly Out

On Thursday July 23, 2026 at 1608 hours the Harrington and Houston Fire Companies, Felton Fire Company Ambulance. Kent County EMS and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to a vehicle accident with reported entrapment at the intersection of Milford-Harrington Hwy and Old Airport Rd. Units arrived on scene to find a three vehicle accident with a total of four patients and reported negative entrapment. EMS units on scene began evaluating the patients. A landing zone was established on Milford-Harrington Hwy. just east of the accident scene. One patient was transported by Ambulance, one patient was transported by DSP Trooper 2 and two patients refused treatment. Units secured all vehicles for any hazards and removed debris from the roadway. The scene was placed under control and all units cleared the scene. The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for further investigation. UNITS ON SCENE: 50 Command, Chief Vehicle, Ambulances A-50, C-50, A-48 and B-52, KM-8, Rescue 50, Engines 50-5 and 50-1, Rescue 52, DSP Trooper 2 and Fire Police.
