Trailer Fire - Fernwood Drive

On Saturday November 13, 2021 at 2:18 am the Harrington, Houston and Felton Fire Companies along with Kent County EMS were dispatched to a residential structure fire in the 600 Block of Fernwood Dr.  50 Command arrived on scene and reported a double wide manufactured home with smoke showing and all occupants out of the residence.  Crews placed three hose lines in service and extinguished the fire, ventilated, conducted search and rescue and performed overhaul.  The scene was then placed under control.  All units then cleared the scene and the scene was turned over to the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office for investigation.  UNITS ON SCENE:  50 Command, Engine 50-4, Engine 50-1, Engine/Tanker 50-2, Rescue 50, Utility 50-8, Ambulance B, 50, Ambulance A-52, Rescue 52, Tanker 52, Engine 48-4, Kent County EMS KM-8, Delaware State Fire Marshal FM-28, Fire Police and Harrington PD. Farmington Fire Company Provided the Engine cover up at Sta. 50 during the incident.   OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Fire Chief Robbie Brode
