Vehi Fire - S. Dupont Hwy

On Wednesday August 28, 2019 at 1837 hrs. the Harrington Fire Co. was dispatched to a vehicle fire on South DuPont Hwy. north of Tower Hill Rd.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find a Ford Ranger pickup fully involved.  Crews placed one hose line in service and quickly brought the fire under control.  All units then cleared the scene and the scene was turned over the Delaware State Police investigation.  UNITS ON SCENE:  50 Command, 50-1, 50-5, Rescue 50, B-50, Fire Police, Harrington PD and DSP.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Fire Chief Robbie Brode.
