Quarterly meeting of the Delaware State Fire Chiefs Association

~~Thursday (09/12/2019), the quarterly meeting of the Delaware State Fire Chiefs Association was held at the Cheswold Fire Co., during the 25th annual Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association (DVFA) Conference. After a presentation from Chief Dennis Rubin, the regular business meeting was held. Past Chief, current Asst. Chief Derrick Brode went out as State Fire Chiefs President and Past Chief, current Ladder Captain Ralph Tucker was installed as 2nd Vice President of the State Fire Chiefs Association, along with Fire Chief Robbie Brode being installed as a director of the association, representing Kent County. We would like to congratulate Past Chief Derrick Brode and thank him for a successful year, as well as wish good luck to Past Chief Tucker and Chief Brode for the upcoming year.

We would also like to congratulate all award winners and those recognized for their efforts throughout the year.
