MVC - S Dupont Hwy @ Paradise Alley Rd

On Monday September 4, 2023 at approximately 11:40 am the Harrington Fire Company, Kent County EMS and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to a vehicle accident with roll over on South DuPont Hwy. in the area of Paradise Alley Rd.  Medic KM-8 was responding to a separate EMS call when they came up on this incident.  Units arrived on scene to find a two vehicle accident with one of the vehicles containing multiple patients.  50 Command arrived on scene and declared and Level 1 MCI.  Additional ALS and BLS units were dispatched along with a second aviation unit.  EMS units then began triaging patients.  6 patients were transported by ambulance and 2 patients were transported by helicopter to various facilities.  The scene was placed under control in approximately 45 minutes.  The scene was then turned over to the Delaware State Police for further investigation.  UNITS ON SCENE:  50 Command, Chief Vehicle, Engine 50-1, Rescue 50, Brush 50, Ambulances A-50, C-50, A-52, A-49, A-48, KM-8, KM-5, KM-10, DSP Trooper 2 and 4, DSP Patrol, Harrington PD, Fire Police and Del-Dot.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Fire Chief Robbie Brode.
