Accident with Entrapment in Harrington

On Wednesday July 24, 2025 at 0843 hrs The Harrington Fire Company was dispatched to an unknown accident on South DuPont Hwy. in the area of Winkler Rd.   EMS units arrived on scene first and confirmed a car exited the roadway and struck a tree and confirmed one subject was trapped.  The Felton Fire Co. was then dispatched for the Rescue and Ambulance assist.  Units arrived in scene and the injured subject was extricated and transported by ambulance to a local hospital in critical condition. The scene was then placed under control. The scene was then turned over to the Delaware State Police for further investigation. 

Units on Scene:  Rescue 50, Engine 50-5, Squad 48, Ambulances B-50, C-50 and B-48, KM-8, Fire Police and DSP.
