Special Olympics Truck Convoy held in Harrington

On Saturday October 5, 2024 the annual Special Olympics Delaware Truck Convoy was held in Harrington at the Delaware State Fairgrounds.  There were over 200 truck in this years convoy.  This is an annual event that raises money for special Olympics.   The Harrington Fire Company would like to thank the Greenwood Fire Company, Slaughter Beach Fire Company and Bowers Fire Company for assisting with their ladder trucks for the ladder arches that were along the truck route.  A special thank you to all the Fire Police, Police Departments and Del-Dot for their assistance with traffic control.
