Combine Fire in Harrington

On Monday October 7, 2024 at 1453 hrs. the Harrington Fire Company was dispatched for a combine on fire in the area of Whitelysburg Rd. and Two Mile Rd.  Units arrived on scene and determined the location to be on Burnite Mill Rd. east of Two Mile Rd.  Units found a combine several hundred yards off the roadway in a field and smoke coming from inside the combine.  Crews placed one hand line in service and were able to extinguish the fire.  The scene was placed under control and all units cleared the scene.  UNITS ON SCENE:  50 Command, Brush 50, Engine 50-4, Ambulance A-50 and Fire Police.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Asst.
