Skid Steer Fire in Harrington

On Thursday May 7, 2026 at 1617 hours the Harrington Fire Company was alerted for an Agricultural Vehicle on Fire on Messicks Rd. in the area of Earl St. Units arrived on scene to find a skid steer loader fully involved. Crews placed one hand line in service and quickly extinguished the fire. The scene was then placed under control. All units then cleared the scene and the scene was turned over to the owner. UNITS ON SCENE: Chief Vehicle, 50 Command, Officer 50-21, Engine 50-4, Brush 50, Tanker 50, Ambulances A-50, C-50 and Fire Police. OFFICER IN CHARGE: 3rd Asst. Chief Mark Scribner Jr.
