Vehicle Fire in Harrington

On Friday May 29, 2026 at 0740 hours the Harrington Fire Company was dispatched for a vehicle fire on South DuPont Hwy. in the area of Still Pond Circle. Units arrived on scene for find a passenger call fully involved. Crews placed one hose line in service and quickly extinguished the fire. The scene was then placed under control and turned over to the Delaware State Police for further investigation. UNITS ON SCENE: Chief Vehicle, Engines 50-1 and 50-4, Ambulance A-50, Harrington PD and DSP. A Dover Police Officer was in the area and also stopped to assist.
